i just dug up some pretty old (nov’06) shots i made while having a late night skate session with my wife and friends!

i did some food stills for a friend of mine who’s currently in education to becoming a chef.
all the shots where taken at my kitchen table, with the sun coming through the windows as the only light source!

life & work at the “gruft” - my diploma (’04)

my (as a part of a team of 3) diploma in photography college @die graphische/vienna was about the “gruft”, which is an institution in vienna that gives the shelterless a place to sleep/get food & clothes/take a shower/have some conversaition…

we’ve been visiting the “gruft”, working there and with the streetteam for about 9 months while being @photography college.
in the end we held an exhebition at the (now partly teared down) kabelwerk in vienna. it was planned to last about a month at first but we could expand it to 3 months in the end.
all proceedings from the sales of the prints (75×50cm, handmade in the darkroom by foto leutner/vienna) went to the “gruft”. they were then able to afford new and better lighting in their rooms which was badly needed because the “gruft” is located in a cellar with no windows, underneath a church in central vienna. (i whish we had the better lighting already while making the shots ;) )
